Interesting.

Do you have plans to do any more modifications?

Is a balance pipe contemplated?
(EDIT I have just found out that standard LS460 exhausts already incorporate a balance pipe)

Extractors maybe?

Was that a gas or gasless mig?

There is much less noise than I would have expected.

I am almost certain that any EPA(or similar) inspector would not notice the deletion unless actually getting underneath.

More importantly, did you notice any performance improvement?

Most importantly, WHY?? After years of having performance cars with loud exhausts I am so appreciative of the soft ride and near silent interior of my LS. I know, I know, to each their own.

My username might provide a clue.

I like how it sounds better now. Little bit more of the V8 sound, but not overkill. With the corrosion factor going on, it was kind of an annoying hit and miss. Now it is at least relatively consistent.

It was welded with a Vulcvan OmniPro 220 MIG welder with gas.

No other plans for mods, aside from wiring a LC2i from factory amp, to run sub and amp from previous vehicles. Ran the power cord that day. Going back for round 2 hopefully this week.

Have only driven it home since Friday, late afternoon. Trunk tore apart, so I did not want to risk damage out driving, and potentially playing around in the snow.

Something needed to be done. The sound was already louder than should be. Cheapest alternative and did not go overkill, imo.

I put variable mufflers on mine. Click of a FOB button and I get straight pipe when I want it. Hit the button again and the pass-throughs in the mufflers close and route the exhaust through the mufflers.

Neat. Never heard of such a thing. I will have to look for videos.
That adds to the awesomeness. Switch it up on people or places.

https://valvetronic.com/products/uni...ed-exhaust-kit

^Kit i used. I also added custom stainless axle-back and Megan Racing SS Mid-pipes with secondary cat delete. Running true dual and it sounds superb.

Interesting. Obviously a guess, but I would guess that that has to be at or near the top for properly paid respect to a V8 sound. *I am not of the rear-end kisser type*

It actually sounds best from 2000-4500RPM in my opinion

Added weight.
Got an LC2i connected to stock base amp, to signal aftermarket amp and 15'' sub.
Going to have to remove and relocate aftermarket amp from top of sub box, as it almost touches the headliner/trunk interior roof trim.
