Default LS 460 is Best

I recently drove the current model (LS500). It was a 2019 and perhaps there have been some improvements since. However, I could not wait to return to my 2016 LS 460, that drove much smoother, faster, quieter, and comfortably. sorry, no, I'll keep my 2016.

Not the first time I've heard this. I've also read that back seats kept getting less and less accommodating. Many in the 430 forum aren't super keen on the 460 or 500. To me it is further confirmation of the sadness to the end of the LS line. I commented here and one other forum that they let it die. I was hoping for the LS550 that would knock everyone's socks off again. Toyota put their focus to the SUV's. Large luxury sedans are still selling, but Toyota chose not to play. Sedans will always have a certain panache that an SUV can't pull off. They could have saved the LS and they let it die.
Keep your 460, buy another like it as a spare if you can.

I've been looking at LS500 at some point as well, but that twin turbo 3.5 V6 turned me off. Funny enough, salesman told me that almost every potential LS500 buyer was asking about V8 as well. I don't think this undersized twin turbo engine will ever match atmo V8. You can get all kinds of power out of those turbos but it will never give you the same sensation. And don't forget about all the reliability issues they have. This is how Lexus lost great number of potential LS customers and now they have to kill it. I guess I'm keeping my LS460 for as long as I can and then go German.
