Windshield Wiper arm rubbing on windshield?

Windshield Wiper arm rubbing on windshield?
My driver windshield wiper arm is rubbing on the windshield in the way back down, what causes this how can it be corrected? Here is a Video it's left a permanent scratch on the windshield. Thanks! 2008 Ls460

My first guess would be something has worked its way loose, either the big but the holds the arm onto the splined shaft or something under the cowl in the linkage or the wiper transmission. There is a lot of moving parts with good leverage on them and nuts and bolts can work work their way loose occasionally. Try pushing on the middle of the arm and see if you can feel it pivot up and down like it’s loose, if so, try tightening the 14mm nut at the bottom of the arm, it might be under a cap or shield or something.
