Default Steering wheel seized up!

I've tried almost everything; checked the fuses in the engine compartment and under the dashboards inside, battery voltage, changed the Power Steering Control Unit EPS 89650-50150 oem jdm, tried wiggling it left and right upon startup, etc...

But out of nowhere my steering wheel decided to lock up on me. It does not move left or right, unless I do a vgrs torque sensor calibration. But, after that it goes back to being locked up. I live in Louisiana so it did not go through heavy rain or snow. It happened while it was sitting on my driveway waiting for a right rear air strut to come in.

My next thought is to consider changing the steering lock actuator?

It did have a red steering lock dash light, but when I put the new EPS in it removed that.

Any thoughts and help would be much appreciated. I've searched the forums but haven't found a solid answer.

That's the first and only thing I could think of.

Have you tried disconnecting the battery?

Have you measured the battery’s State-Of-Charge?
