Switched to aftermarket head unit now back up camera not working.

Things I have tried

- fuses under passenger side in cabin

- putting back in OEM head unit then nothing happens when reverse is engaged which is weird because when the OEM android screen is in there it switches to the back up monitor but it's blank.

-testing wires behind the glovebox for a change in voltage. I have tested wires for the actual video signal and power to the camera when you put car in reverse there is no difference in voltage.

- hard wiring a video signal to new head unit while also hard wiring power for camera to turn on - Nothing


Anyone have any suggestions? I have tried asking chat gbt and they say to check wiring or fuses.

I googled backup camera doesn't have an active test on Techstream? is there a way to test this?

How do I know if camera is bad?
