Default Check connection air conditioner

Does anyone have any suggestions where I can start?

The climate control buttons dont work there is no outside temp displayed.

I replaced the AC amplifier

The system as well as the temp on front works every 8-10 times.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks
Derreck

The problem is either a fuse or the AC amplifier. Did you replace it with a known working one? Any part number amplifier will work and turn the system on, but they are trim specific. Wrong AC amp and you have rear climate, it won't show up on the screen, etc.

There was a loose wire connection to the actual display unit. I made sure all the wires were connected and a couple had been severed not by me but by someone doing something aftermarket. I reconnected the wires and it works fine now.

I replaced the ac amplifier didn't fix the problem. I have taken it to 3 shops now they all say the same thing after taking my diagnostic money...the left hand buttons don't work on the unit" try using a different unit. After I tell them I have tried 3 and a wire got crossed they say, well it would be too difficult to find which wires there are. Aren't there like 20 wires on AC harness? How hard can it be to test them. After I tell them I will pay them whatever it takes they basically say it's too difficult and have other easier jobs to make money on.

Does anyone know why my left hand side buttons don't work on these buttons are

Those buttons will work without the AC amp or climate panel plugged in. Thats a nav unit issue, not an AC issue.
