Like so many orphan 2016 LS460 owners, I want a remote start, preferably through some app so I can start my car (and AC) if I’m in a store.
When Enform was cancelled, we were left with no options.
I loved led for something on 12 volt, but couldn’t find anything for a 2016 LS460 push to start.

Has ANYONE tried or know anything about the Compustar option???

I’m in Texas where the heat is bad so this is really needed.

 

12v solutions can be use w/ and w/o app. However, it seems that 2014 is newest they support.

 

Never heard about Compustar. I am using Drone Mobile on my 2017 LS 460. Works like a charm from the app on the phone and from OEM key fob (short distance only).

 

I wanted to be able to start my car from inside grocery store or vet office. The fob can’t do that.

 

If we use it in Europe, and the car is found running but empty, the fine is from 460 to 2000 euros.

 

Good thing I’m in Texas. The other day I saw a guy have his Tesla start and pick him up in front of the store- and no one was driving. Now that’s cool!
I just want to start my dang car.

 

I have to ask....did the phrase "give it an Italian tuneup" originate in Italy ?

 

I have had 2 Compustar products and they used the Drone Mobile app. I absolutely loved them. I had one in my first GX and then one in my first LX. The remote range is insane and the mobile app makes it even better. I had the T12 and then T13 and both were awesome.

Yeah, when you wring its neck until the mufflers pop. I don't think I could do that with the LS600. I'd have to go into warp drive.

I haven't done my LS yet. My first one was on a 2009 GX470. It was the T12 model. My 2011 LX570, I did the ProT13. The T13 has a nicer remote, more streamline. I loved both--especially using the Drone Mobile app with them.

 

I’ll probably get the T13 with the drone app.
