2008 Ls460 Fuse Box
I would like to share this information with others. Just a few months ago probably about 6 I experienced a problem where my headlights would not come on. I did some research on the possible problem and several others had indicated that they had that problem and they replace the under the hood fuse box. I went on Ebay and found there are vendors selling used fuse boxes at a fraction of the cost as a dealer so I said I would just give it a try and buy one, I think I paid 120 bucks for one and they gave a guarantee of a 30day return. It only took about 4days for me to receive it. The installation was simple and took me less than 45minutes. Once I got it installed my headlights began working again but I did notice that my power steering was not working but all I did was to drive around the block and the power steering began working again. Also what happened when I installed the unit that the ABS/VSC malfuntion light on the dash was now gone and it has not come back on and that has been 2months ago. I was amazed the unit corrected this problem. Maybe this information just might help someone else because replacing that abs actuator and pump could run around 3500 bucks to repair.

Thanks for that info. I have a 2010 LS460. Bumper replacement from someone hitting me and headlights were t working. They found something in the fuse box burnt. They gave me a new fuse box from Lexus. All the lights are working but now almost every light in the dash is on. I'm going to have to take it back to see what perhaps they missed or crossed something the wrong way. Always something.
VSC, as mentioned in post #1 means "Vehicle Stability Control".
It took me 20 minutes to find out what this shorthand acronym means.
Please do not use acronyms/abbreviations, unless it is backed up by spelling out the full term at the same time.
After first use in a thread it is OK to do so.
