I don't very often have battery issues. This last one just blew me. Had the car towed. I forgot to put my tow hook back in the car. Long story short, tow truck driver damaged something under the pass. side suspension. Now I gotta get that diagnosed & repaired. I'm in the market for a jump box now. I'm being warned about which kind & brand to get when dealing with a Lexus. I added the link below on which one I chose. Is this recommended? What/which one do you recommend?

This is enough for our cars. I have the 3000a model because I have several cars one of which is a Duramax which requires more. Love Noco products. Never had a failure.
I have a Noco, GB40, 1000 AMP jump box in every vehicle. All have V8 engines, biggest is a 6.4 Litre. I like the jump boxes that are standalone, not air pumps too. They are small, and fit easily in a glove box, or the rear arm rest. They can be charged from the USB port in the car, I check the charge twice a year, usually top up the charge once a year. I have started another fellows 6.7 litre Cummins diesel at -40 with the GB 40 and it barely took the charge off 25%. A 2000 AMP booster will be more than enough for our little 4.6 litre Lexus engines.
Keep in mind many of the small lithium jump packs internally discharge/degrade even when just sitting around. Many people have complained they only
last a few years before barely being able to jump a single car without needing a recharge

They probably will eventually, all batteries do. My oldest Noco is now 4 years old, still works just like the day I bought it. Even if they only last 6 or 7 years, still really cheap insurance. Best of all, I can lend them to jump other folks flat cars. I want no part of using booster cables on these rolling computers.
Nope. It's correct. Hate on it all you want. Won't change the superiority.
Not hating on anything, stop being so paranoid. I just don't believe you can push 2000 amps through those over insulated speaker wires with the sub standard clamps.
I have the Noco GB50 and that little thing jumps my GMC 2500 with the 6.6 dmax with no problem. They do come in very handy for sure. We use them at work daily with no issues.

I agree on the convenience but they don't last long enough under shop use, plus if you can't figure out cables that's a just a skill issue.

Something about shop vacs rated at "5hp" comes to mind when they are able to run on 10-20 amp circuits lol!
