Has anyone had to replace the fuel temperature sensor. The dealership is wanting 20 hours to replace. Is it that difficult. If not where can I find directions to change myself

 

Do you mean the pressure sensor for the direct injectors? If so, it's under the intake manifold so if you look at a thread for repairing the valley plate leak that is the procedure you will have to follow to get to the sensor, that would be an ideal time to do the valley plate reseal if that's your problem.

Was there a trouble code that was diagnosed and a replacement was recommended?

 

Po546 is the code. The dealer called it a fuel temp modulator

 

The code P0546 refers to exhaust temperature sensors and unless you have a 600H you don't have them.
