HI, I JUST BOUGHT LEXUS LS 600 HL 2008. I WAS TRYING TO REMOVE THE SPARKPLUGS. GOT SUCCESSFUL IN REMOVING 6 PLUGS BUT IAM STUCK IN BACK DONT KNOW HOW TO REMOVE THOSE 2 SPARK PLUGS COVERED WITH HYBRID BATTERY WIRES. THERE IS WARNING NOT TO REMOVE THOSE HYBRID BATTERY WIRES FOR HIGH VOLTAGE

REMAINING 2 SPARKPLUGS UNDER COVER ALREADY REMOVED 2 12MM SCREWS FROM THE FRONT BUT REMAING 2 SCREWS WERE BEHIND THE LOOM OF WIRES CANT ACESS IT.








AND THERE IS NOT MUCH THREAD AND VIDEOS OVER THE INTERNET. PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT OTHER SERVICES I CAN DO. I WILL ATTACH SOME PICTURES TO. ALL HELP WILL BE MUCH APPRECIATED.

 

It looks like you don't have any air filters installed in your air boxes.

 

According to the workshop manual, you do need to disconnect the motor / generator cables. Obviously you should also disconnect both the 12v battery and remove the HV service plug first.

after that you can safelly remove the hybrid cable by reliase the clips and generally take the away from the spark plug location
