Default Transmission mount change

Just finished up changing the transmission mount. Car is a 2010 with only 45,000 miles but the vibration when stopped in drive was annoying so decided to try something.

thanks to the person who posted a great DIY. Easy job. Did it while replacing oil. The bolts that hold the mount to the chassis are the tough ones. A little awkward to get at. Need a universal joint.

did it help? I think so. Will need to drive it some more. But a strong maybe.

interesting note, the mount is oil filled. Wasn’t expecting that. Could explain why mileage was low, but 14+ years caused the oil to degrade and cause vibration.

Vibration when idling in drive would make me think it's the engine mounts and you should notice a difference right away. The trans mount is more likely to need a test drive to confirm the repair.
