I'm looking for a dash cover that actually fits (a 2017 LS 460). I tried one of them before, and just didn't like it. Below is an image of the one I bought. I wasn't happy with the fit or the mounting method so I didn't use it. But I still need one, and I want to know if anybody's found a good dash cover for their Lexus.
To me, a "good" dash cover would be one worthy of a Lexus i.e., texture and quality of the material is good, it fits well, and doesn't look excessively cheap.
My question is, has anybody used a good dashboard cover like this? If so, 1 - what made you choose it, 2 - how well does it fit, 3 - what brand was it? and 4 - where to buy?
I tried 2 of them from covercraft and neither one fit well enough to keep and they were returned. I was looking before Lexus replaced my dash and then I stopped looking.
IMHO there's not enough demand for LS dash covers for a manufacturer to make a custom fitting quality cover and recover their R&D costs. I think a high rated auto upholstery shop can custom make exactly what you want. Cost? Way more than $40. Make a few phone calls...
