2008 Lexus LS460L PROBLEM

After having a battery disconnected for some service, which included new ball joints parts and front air shocks, my 2008 LS460L has a problem with the dashboard saying "VSC and also VGRS problem - take to dealer". The car drives fine but the steering wheel is not in the correct position as it used to be. Any suggestions as to what this needs?

Well new ball joints require a front end alignment. Was that done? An alignment includes centering the steering wheel. I believe a calibration needs to be done on an LS but I'm no expert on that part.

Thank you, I will check on whether a front end alignment was done after installing new ball joint parts.

Well I hope they didn't do an alignment only because I can't imagine them doing one and not centering the steering wheel. Good luck!

I recall several posts about a procedure to center a steering wheel having to do with vgrs. Have you tried the search function on the forum? Maybe someone will post the link if you don't want to search.
