Quote: Hi Gerf, I have a Covercraft shade that works very well. I have used mine for over 7 years and it's very durable. They are custom-fitted for make and model.

Same here. Using UVS100 sun shade on all my cars for years. Can't go wrong with it.

I ordered a UVS100 and am just waiting for it to get here on the 28th. Thanks all for the recommendation.

Quote: My dash survived 8 years of BRUTAL Southern CA desert summers using random sunshades from Costco. The last 3 years, I had front windshield tinted to 70%. The tint guy said it'll be like i parked under a shaded tree, well, he was a good salesman...LOL I'm sure it made a little difference in protecting interior from UV rays, but nothing noticeable for heat reduction.
That’s odd. I’ve tinted my windshields for at leat 20 years. As tint improves, I put the better one on each newer car. Currently, have a UBER Optic nano film in a 70. It keeps the dash much cooler. Have lived in either South Florida or Charleston SC most of the time & the sun is rough there. For tint, ceramic or better is the rule.

Finally got the cover, it's well built but just a bit small.

Did you order the one "with the camera" specified? As I mentioned in an earlier post, I emailed Covercraft and took a picture, sent it to them, and they said to get that one, even though that's not a camera, but a sensor. Yours seems to fit better around the rearview mirror.

I got the "without camera", it's just a little short on the width but overall fits better than any that I've had for other cars.

Def agree with you getting the newest tech! Avg outside temps in summer is 115*F where I live.

@Gerf i received my covercraft last week & what a difference. Temps here are only in the low 100s at the moment, but I can feel a night & day difference w/ the new shade.

I ordered and just received my sunshade from Covercraft. I like everything about it. I just wish they offered a simple "slip" cover type storage case since it will spend alot of time in the trunk. Otherwise, a fine product.

I got mine through Coverit Canada and had to pay extra for mine, Covercraft doesn't ship directly to Canada.

No damn wonder a dash will get sticky there.

I didn't either! Oh well, just something else to have to deal with. I fold mine up and toss it in the rear floorboard.
