Hi, I looking to swap out my dented and hail damaged trunk with another trunk off a salvaged vehicle with same paint color. It is a 2017 model RWD. Has anyone done a similar swap. I have watched youtube videos on trunk actuator replacement and how to remove the lining. I don't see any video of a whole trunk swap. I don't plan on switch to key lock mechanism. Thanks ahead for any advice.

 

Maybe try searching for "Deck Lid" or "Read Deck Lid" rather than Trunk.

 

If you are going to all that trouble you should swap the key as well and maybe replace the rubber cover on the trunk release button.
