First time on the board, so if this belongs someplace else, I apologize in advance.

Does anyone have a used headlight assy they want to part with at a reasonable price? Or, know of a decent aftermarket source?

I came out to my parked car last night and someone decided to hit&run...busted my passenger side headlight. The inside chrome piece is busted so I think im going to need a whole assembly, not just a new lens.

eBay or similar, car-part.com etc, these are very expensive headlights though so be prepared to spend at least $300 for a working one that is likely very yellowed.

 

If your headlight is still working, lens can be fairly easily replaced. I pulled one of these apart using heat gun and few plastic scrapers. There's this thing on Amazon , I've seen them from Lexus as well.

 

I dont think I can do the lens only repair. The chrome plastic trim inside the headlight is busted as well.

 

Thank you for your reply. Yes, I noticed these headlights are outrageously expensive. My LS is approaching 180k miles so trying to get away with finding a used replacement...plus, i hate the look of car with one brand new headlight that doesn't match the other side.
