Arrow Vibrating in drive mode most noticeable while stationary

My 07 LS460 has a vibration when I switch it into drive mode. Mostly noticed while waiting on signals. If i put it in neutral than the vibration goes away but switch it back to drive mode to drive away the vibration comes back.
It drives perfectly but this vibration on signals is really annoying and wanna fix it before it creates bigger problems.
Spoke to couple of mechanics and both gave different answers.
1st said it’s the problem with the engine mount
2nd said the support arm in the back of the vehicle by the drive shaft needs to be changed
has anyone else in this group faced similar issues.? I really wanna figure out the problem and get it fixed.

Probably engine mounts.

Could be either or both as well as transmission mount. Assuming an 07 has lots of miles on it, understandably worn parts. We can't say for certain as it requires eyes on. But I agree that motor mounts are most likely. Open hood, have someone rev the engine a few times while you observe if the engine lifts on one side. That's indicative of motor mounts.

Pretty normal, My 2013 does that, only has 60,000 miles, nothing wrong with the car

As others have said this point towards a potential issue with the engine or transmission mounts, have a comprehensive inspection of the engine and transmission mounts. Over time, these mounts can wear out or become damaged, leading to vibrations and uneven performance, especially when transitioning between gears. If the mounts are found to be faulty, replacing them should mitigate the vibration issue.

As others have suggested engine mounts are toast. They are 16 years old. The rubber is hard from age. The engine may not display movement like a typical bad engine mount. They just can't dampen the vibrations due to age.

There are a number of posts in here that describe the vibrations in drive while at a stop. A lexus dealer inspected my car twice for the vibrations. They claimed that the engine mounts were fine. I replaced the mounts, no more vibrations.

I used to have vibration at idle while in drive and at a stop light, it would get better if I had the AC on and seat heater on. I just replaced both the engine and transmission mounts and I have noticed such a big difference! No move vibrations at idle! the old ones did not display cracks or wear when I took them out.

Waiting for Jose2007 to post his decision or diagnostics.
