Default Air suspension issue code c1762

Hi everyone,

I ran into an issue and no idea how to go about this as my general mechanic said it's beyond his expertise but my last resort is to go to Lexus and pay arm and leg.

Rear air suspension does not want to exhaust it's air or dampen as it goes over bumps and humps. The code I'm getting is C1762

"With the exhaust valve activated, the vehicle does not go down to the standard vehicle height after 6 minutes have elapsed.

Troubled areas
- air tube
- front height control valve
-rear height control valve
-height control compressor

Anyone experiencing this and where exactly is the problem?

I would start with height control valves.

This is a computer run vehicle. Techstream or similar diagnostic tool is almost required for diagnosing and repairing operations like this. Do you have it or a shop that does?

This code will set (obviously) if you run engine while car is on lift. It clears after couple of ign cycles, if vehicle is back on the ground. If it is and still this code is set - further diag is required. Ideally you get factory service manual and use DTC diagnostic chart for this dtc from there. It's checking air tubes, wiring etc. Your solenoid valve in the back may very well be bad. But replacing isn't super easy DIY thing.
