Ls460 RWD or AWD - starter replacement
Hello,
I'm considering an AWD 2010 LS460, and my tech buddy told me that the engines have to be pulled for starter replacement on AWD, but not RWD.
Has anyone had a starter done on their AWD, and how much of a hassle was it? Ironically, I can’t find any DIY on an AWD starter replacement.

I believe that there are other repair items that are more complicated with AWD in addition to the starter. I'd look at later years to minimize need for repairs. More money, pay me now or pay me later.

I wouldn't either even though I had a rwd LS400 for many years but my wife mainly drove it.
We can have pretty long winters here with lots of freeze/thaw cycles so ice can be as big a problem as snow and people still get stuck with winter tires in the snow.
