You guys are all totally right about getting another shops opinion but I’m really worried about affordability on this one because I already paid $3600 to have everything redone and I don’t know how much more I can shell out for this transmission. I suggest that you respectfully ask for them to install a replacement trans and torque converter at no labor cost. They failed to properly diagnose and repair. It's suggested that trans fluid be replaced at 100k or sooner. So, finding a used trans with under 100k is suggested.
