Need help Dash lights go Haywire
Speedometer and rpm dials go up and down as all my lights flash VGRS VSC brake malfunction light it dings and air conditioner is intermittent.
Has anyone experienced this?
The car drives fine, I am out of town on a road trip.

try to disconnect the battery and see what happens...
Do you mean the cluster repeatedly initializes? It goes dark, sweeps the needles, and turns all the lights on again and again? I've had that happen with mine, pretty sure it's bad capacitors in the cluster.
If the HVAC is cutting out too, that sure sounds like low voltage. The car will cut out electrical consumers to reduce load, and the A/C is one of the first to go.
Your car is a bit older; how does the serpentine belt look? If you don't have a scan tool or any kind of diagnostics, I'd be checking the alternator, its connections, etc.

This sounds somewhat similar to what I experienced while driving and my negative battery cable came loose, except my navigation unit also kept rebooting and initializing and there was a specific warning message on the multi-function display - "Electrical systems are currently unavailable". Do you have an OBD2 device or Techstream you could use to monitor voltage when this occurs? At least you may be able to rule it out as you work to identify the issue.
Edit: I didn't even consider the alternator but I bet Trogdor's right. Could stop by your local auto parts store and ask them to test your batter and alternator.

This somewhat happens but the needles don't stop sweeping they just start bouncing like crazy, all the warnings and lights go off brake malfunction etc and it DINGS if it didn't ding every 5 seconds I wouldn't care...

Thanks I replaced the alternator about 18 months ago with O'Reillys then periodically I get the check engine power after a quick google, people also got the same warning after replacing with OReillys alternator but it goes away.
You'll want to use the live values to check what the car is reporting for voltage on various circuits. I don't have my car hooked up at the moment so I don't have exact steps, but after doing the module test you'll want to go into the engine control section and monitor the live values there.
That doesn't seem right, even if it is happening to other people as well. What codes are generated when this happens?

I woke up to no lights and no craziness today
I went to an oreillys today still on road for work and as soon as i was parking got the “check generator” couldnt help but laugh
tested alternator starter was good. they did say battery was ONLY 12. sonething volts and told me to take it out to get a full charge from them

SOLVED!
It ended up being a short in the aftermarket "Tesla Style Touchscrean Android" stereo. I took it to a local remote start alarm place to have remote start fixed and they wouldn't look at it until I fixed it. But guy pointed out on the back of the unit when I pulled it out the Canbus wire was exposed the plastic was gone in a little section. They referred me to a shop close by called them and they wanted 2 hours and $330 to diagnose the problem. I was already late for leaving out of town for work and decided to just go home and switch out LS460's to my 2010 or see if I had one of those extra Canbus plug in modules for back of unit. I literally slapped a piece of electrical tape over the exposed wire and have not heard a bell, beep or light since.
Too bad for Stereo shop because I called in advance he said they could fix it then when I drove a half hour there they said they couldn't fix it and this made me lose about 2.5 hours of work from leaving town, because I had my wife in my other LS and we were going to leave town from there different direction. I said are you sure I can't pay you to look at it, I will never come back here again ( have an outside sales job where when it's go TIME it's GO TIME)...they said they don't deal with that stuff, I was like your a stereo shop, canbus, alarms?
