Trunk auto close Brainstorm

I read the several threads on closing trunk from inside. I have a 2010 Sport.
My brainstorm is - If the RX can close the hatch from the inside then if I switch out the switch from a RX to the LS then the trunk may close from the inside.
Thoughts? Which years RX have similar looking switch facia to my 2010?
