Was wondering if anyone else is having this problem and has a solution to it.

I have to slam my trunk close hard for the "trunk open light" to turn off, then as soon as i hit a bump while driving the "trunk open light" pops back up.

Its such a nuisance cause if i don't get the light to turn off, it will literally drain out my battery.

Could possibly be the trunk switch is going bad.

+1 - just a bad sensor in the trunk
