2008 LS460 Question
I am debating pulling the injectors out to check them before attempting to start. I found a shop that can rebuild them in my area. I don't want to pull them out if it not necessary thought. Any thoughts on that? I figure I will change the spark plugs and when I have them out, turn the engine by hand to make sure its not locked. I have a Cadillac that sat for 10 years and the injectors were okay, so maybe just thinking too much. The tires were in rough shape before I took it off the road so they will be replaced. No rodents- I have been under the hood pulling off all the covers, inspecting and there are no signs of any damage, nests, etc. I appreciate it but I am about 75 miles from Ft. Lauderdale in Jupiter.
First, you need to check the condition of the gas! I personally don't believe you need to touch the injectors. Remove the old gas and fill up with good quality premium. Run the car, until it burns remaining of the old fuel and then see if you need to clean the injectors.

I don't really drive my '07 as much as I'd like, so any road trip would be enjoyable and welcomed.
The direct injectors like to break the plastic connector where it meets the metal body of the injector usually fails when you try to disconnect you need to be very careful maybe some silicone spray to ease the disconnection?
Also they are colour coded so if you need to replace any, you would need to find the correct colour band and put it in the exact same spot, I think there’s black green brown might not all be the same you need to see.
once disconnected and taken out you need to replace all the rings on every injector, I also remember the metal fuel rail and line there’s some kind of bolt or crimp or something, was cautioned that it should not be reused just in case. That advice was given by carcarenut on YouTube.
