Bank 1 can shaft positioning sensor

Does anyone know where this is located. I pulled codes and that what wrong and why it won’t start. 07 Lexus ls460 base model

What code? There are 2 per bank + 1 extra.

All it said was cam shaft position sensor bank one. Where are they both located I’ll replace both

Please try reading the code with a better scanners since it will tell you exactly what sensor you need to address

Will he need tech stream or similar after replacing sensor? I'm not sure if this is a simple swap or requires "programming".

Nah, of course not. It's just number of sensors and amount of possible DTCs - that makes diag less than straightforward for cam sensors (aka vvt sensors).

So here is the background. I had a cam shaft positioning sensor go out on me well I was driving. I lost all acceleration and eventually ability to start. I have replaced the sensor but the car still won’t start. It turns over like it wants to start but doesn’t. Any suggestions?
