Default Cool Box question

Quick question for those of you with the cool box between the rear seats - what water bottles have you found to fit well with a minimum of space left over? I was thinking Fiji but not sure about how deep the box is. Thanks!

It's designed for a typical soda can laying on its side.

Arrowhead (in CA) makes these aquapods that fit on their side I can get 6-8 in there depending on how full you want it. The taller bottles will also fit but they won't look as nice.

How does the cool box work again? You have to turn on the AC to make it cold? Is it actually cold?

It's a coolbox (ie. not temperature controlled) that runs off the rear circuit of the AC system.
You don't have to set a low temperature for it to be cool, but if you turn off the AC then it will eventually warm up.
It's fairly well insulated so stays cool for quite a while so cold drinks stay cold for quite some time.
I used mine when on vacation in the south of France but haven't used it since.

It basically is an insulated metal compartment that has a little vent that allows the A/C to blow inside of the box. You can actually open or close the vent by hand depending on how cool you want it to be.

I ended up trying the 11.2 oz Fiji bottles (the smallest size, I think). I laid them over sideways and fit 4 into the box with a bit of room leftover at the top, probably could squeeze some protein bars in there. Just if anyone is wondering.
