Went 100% OEM on all 4 struts. Did the 2 fronts in 2021, and the 2 rears in 2023. KYB is original manufacturer, but as I and others have noted, that doesn't mean the KYB off the shelf strut is the same one Toyota contracted for these cars, could be a different spec. It's up to you, but I think with 4-5 great discounters you can read about on this site, OEM makes sense. I mean, 20 years on my rear struts and 17 on my front! And I can tell my previous owner put mostly in-town miles on. Worth the splurge, but you have to gage against your own economics.

My indy recommended the aftermarket KYB's. I don't care for them. When I'm feeling flush, I'll replace them with OEM.
