Isn't your car already factory HID? Maybe get new bulbs? I find the LS factory HIDs pretty bright already. But I've had other 2000s cars with factory HID and I do notice that they are not as bright as modern HIDs but then its also working with older lens technology, old Oem ballasts and old bulbs.

The capsules (bulbs) are 15+ years old and they do dim over time. Just replacing those with new ones will increase your light output significantly!

I just read another post under RX and someone mentioned the same thing.
My 03 LS probably has the original bulbs, maybe I should give it a try. Should I get it from Lexus dealer? wonder how much it will be

Depending on brand they can go for under $50 a pair for generic ones up to like $400 a pair. From Lexus/Toyota direct you would probably pay about $350 for a pair.
'The retrofit source' or other legit sites are usually a better deal, but personally this is one of the products I would not buy from Amazon (like spark plugs, lots of fake ones out there)

Rockauto.com has Phillips HID bulbs available for around $40 each. Good brand, and also legit website that is an actual licensed parts dealer .

I really like my Osram CBB D2S from @LightWerkz , bonus is you know they are genuine instead of knockoffs that flood the marketplace.

Is Philips HID bulbs the original for LS? If not, what does Lexus sell for replacement?

I won't get part from Amazon due to fake. I got parts from local Lexus even though they a bit more expensive. I also used lexuspartsnow.com

I have read numerous sources that say yes, but as with anything on the internet, take it with a grain of salt. They DO make good bulbs though, so I don't think you could go wrong.

I’ve been using the same set of Philips Ultinon HID since 2016 but it’s time to update them and this time around I’m going with Osram CBI bulbs.

edit*

went with Night breakers we shall see.
