Default Adding front side camera onto aftermarket head unit?

Is it possible to install a camera on the front and side of the 430 if I have an aftermarket head unit with mark levinson sound? Has anyone ever done this?

Not sure about the side but I have added a Naviks unit on my GS300 that gave me front and rear cameras. If you have one of those Chinese replacement headunits with the built in AC then yeah you can do that on those for sure.

Ok thats good to know I just love how my LX570 has that side camera that makes parking by curbs much easier.

It probably depends on the head unit you have. My Kenwood has spots for two camera inputs.

I just bought a T'Eyes Android headunit yesterday. I have seen a lot of good reviews on YouTube, etc. (including that Car Care Nut guy). When you buy the top of the line unit, you can get an optional 360 camera add-on for only $110 USD. Check out videos on that feature on YouTube, too. I also got OBDII reader and a tire pressure gauge (with internal sensors), both displayed on the headunit. These add-ons are reasonably priced too. I am going to see if I can use the front and rear cameras from the 360 system as dash cams (otherwise, I will add 4K ones separately). About $800 USD shipped for my order.

The only thing is that it is coming from Australia (wut?), and could take a couple of weeks to arrive. I realize I am taking some risk here, but I believe in the good ol' American credit card chargeback process. lol. But definitely seems legit. Oh, the HVAC will continue to work (on screen, except for temperature controls which are controlled with the physical buttons).

Mick

Bought one from aliexpress without the 360 camera but the one with 360 cameras is $277 and you can add tmps to that. The fit is perfect and only connection to car is a Y cable. Temp change buttons on screen do work but no number to show the setting as I can tell by fan changing speed. Updated car to modern nav with 9 inch screen and all android apps and use mobile hotspot from phone.

Hey can you show pictures on how you did that? Is that the Tesla style unit for the GS?
