Has anyone ever repainted bumpers on a ls430 mine is silver and wandering if I should leave it alone or repaint them I'm worried it might be to noticeable and drive me crazy if I repaint them .
If you are talking about taping off yourself and matching cap color from the auto parts store? MAJOR NO!
If you are talking about a shop custom making you a can of Toyota Mercury Metallic, and then you tape and spray? You still won't like it. Even if garaged, matching 20 year old plastic to 20 year old metal won't happen, and you would be surprised at the paint fade. The paint and under/clearcoats were amazing on these cars, but plastic is a different animal.
Sadly, we arrive at the most expensive option, what @captainva said. A shop would have to do blending and spray it even and right.
Whoever does what, make sure parking sensors are taped if you have them! Parking sensors are individually factory-painted with the perfect amount. The idiot non-Lexus lot I bought my first 430 at had done a quick spray on the bumpers for marketing, as many lots will do, and they never worked right. I was too dumb in the beginning to know. A good shop will know of course.

My recently acquired silver LS430 had both bumpers repainted, I don't see anything concerning with the color match. I also have a Silver Pontiac G8 where the factory paint can look different on the bumper covers but that is more from the angle on the body panels and where they meet the bumper cover.
Unfortunately the bumper covers were not removed and painted in place including painting over the chrome strips. I bought the car at auction and actually only noticed the bumpers were resprayed by seeing a small area of silver on the corner of the lower grill and then seeing other LS430's which all seem to have chrome bumper strips. I'm sure they will look better painted than with scuffs and whatnot. Color matching shouldn't be an issue for any decent painter even if it is silver which can be a more tricky color.
silver, especially the mercury metallic silver on the LS430 is a tough color to match, just by it's nature. but any talented paint shop should be able to do it.
