Default How to remove roof gutters?

The "decal" on the roof gutters is peeling so for now I'm just going to remove it and do chrome.

I have pry tools and know the rails come up/off but some idea of how they come up/off would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

There are five clips. Start at one end and work slow. Make sure you clean the channel out thoroughly before reinstalling. I had mine done in black to match the trim on the windshield.

Thanks VERY much, especially for the pics. Follow up question...I assume I'm using a plastic pry tool and just lifting straight up, right? Also, when you say you had it done in black...what do you mean? You had someone apply a new coating? What type of place did you take it?

Again, thanks very much...it's greatly appreciated.

Use a plastic trim tool to pry them out. I had mine redone in gloss black vinyl. Been about 5 years now and they are holding up great. Cost about $120 to have my local vinyl place knock them out.
