I have a rare AC compressor on a 2004-2006 LS430. (The car was made for Arabic market, not US/EU) and AC compressor is a little different (the hoses that come to it are different - they both go on top). And the clutch works similarly as on 2001-2003 LS430 stops and then works again. 88320-50091 - my part number
My compressor works fine, but with with a lot of noise and vibrations when the clutch engages. It's so annoying when the car is parked and AC is running.
The clutch is NEW. So the problem isn't with it. And I can't find the replacement for the compressor itself / rebuilding also isn't an option.
So I've been thinking about installing the compressor from LS400. It has the same mounting bolts and places for hoses to run.
The only difference is that I have an additional valve on top that goes to the clutch and the one from LS430 doesn't.
Will this work? Or what other compressors can I replace mine with? Thank you!

The valve has 2 wires - 1 goes to the clutch plug. Another to the plug that goes directly to the ground point after that.
LS400 compressor - the difference only is that it doesn't have that valve that mine has on top .
