Running 87 octane in my 2006 LS 430 120 miles perfectly maintained. I have read many threads that claim that there was no noticeable difference between running 87 octane they have claimed they saw no difference in gas mileage I just drove from the Mississippi Gulf Coast to Chicago and back. I ran 87 octane in my 06 430. I did it against my better judgment I'm not sure if it deducted my gas mileage it may not have. However it's been my experience that most people are not in tune with exactly how it ecelerates idles there are to many things that are normal. My wife is can't believe that within a mile of driving last month I said somthings off. Either I tire puncture a tire out of balance. It turned out the air pressure was 4 lbs low whether people realized it or not. My car arrayed harder it was also hesitant a few times both in first gear starting off also ecelerating in second gear. It didn't do it every time but this was just one tank full. You would have a hard time convincing me that those issues don't increase over time. Most people might take their car in for service that I believe is linked to using low octane fuel. This is my opinion . If you listen to Scotty Kilmer on you tube eqhen he says it doesn't matter he is not talking about these xars. You can find him reviewing a LS430 and didn't suggest using low octane fuel in these cars Don't cut corners with your LS 430 and then refer to yourself as ab enthusiast of these cars. No disrespect. But you know I'm right. Be safe and Don't forget ro enjoy the drivemm
