Got a nail in my tire and I am waiting for it to be patched. Now the low tire warning light is on while I drive on my spare. Not sure why ... will it turn off or does the low tire light need to be reset ?

The low tire warning light will stay on until it is shut off. First make sure all the tires including the spare are Full. Then check on you tube this question . It will show the small reset button hidden under the drivers side dashboard.
