Default Parking sensor replacement

Has anyone changed a defective parking sensor? I fear one of the two sensors on the right front bumper is defective as I get an indication that an object is in the way when one isn't or even while driving. It happens sporadically so its hard to diagnose. I bought 2 new ones on Amazon to change out the suspected sensors. I thought I had seen a post about changing them but cant find on the forum.

You need to remove the bumper cover. You can do the extreme left & right ones without removing it, but it's not easy.
Your best bet is to remove the bumper cover completely. Easy-peasy once the cover is off.

I am not sure how savvy you are in DIY, but when I did mine I bought the sensor from Amayama and then I went to a body shop. Body shop labor is way less than any mechanic.
