Default Solved-Change A/C Filter Warning

I got the message on my dashboard, "change A/C filter", so I did. Despite the new filter I still keep getting the message. Is there a way to cancel this warning? Will it eventually reset itself? Or is this an indication that the hose/housing feeding the A/C is clogged with debris, a squirrel nest or something? Any input will be greatly appreciated!

It's pretty much just on a timer that goes off every so often. It doesn't have any sensors or anything that trigger it: pretty simple prosecute to reset it!
