So I have a 2001 LS with the mark levanson and the nav. I tried to update my navigation (with a burned ebay disk) it didnt work. so i bought an factory 2013 pt219-gn23w-13 and to no avail it wouldn't read (no disk detected) i even removed the little battery inside the nav unit to clear the memory from an old thread i read long time ago. i got another nav disc unit for the trunk and put the original factory disc and it works. Then i took the 2013 update and it still wont update nor read the disc....i am at a loss. i read there is a service factory rest disc that the dealership uses....
yes, i have. I got the "updating navigation" then it said "no disc detected"
Sorry about your dilemma ... May I ask....did you get the latest disc from the Lexus dealer? Cost? I just wanted to make sure it was OEM. Thanks and good luck.
