Navigation won't update.
Hello all,
So I have a 2001 LS with the mark levanson and the nav. I tried to update my navigation (with a burned ebay disk) it didnt work. so i bought an factory 2013 pt219-gn23w-13 and to no avail it wouldn't read (no disk detected) i even removed the little battery inside the nav unit to clear the memory from an old thread i read long time ago. i got another nav disc unit for the trunk and put the original factory disc and it works. Then i took the 2013 update and it still wont update nor read the disc....i am at a loss. i read there is a service factory rest disc that the dealership uses....

I thought Lexus only updated those for 10 years.
So if your car was a 2001, the last/latest navigation update would be 2011, I'd think.
I have a 2005 LS430, and I'm using a 2014 update I bought in 2014 from Sewell Parts.
