Hello,

ES430..? Don't remember that being a thing..

Are you sure it is not an LS430? If so, then you are in the wrong section of the forum, to get a more accurate information, please head to the LS section that you can find here. From some general information that I found online, try disconnecting the battery for a while and see if it helps, then check all the connections to the radio. Also check for any aftermarket stuff that may be installed in your car. Lastly, some people reported that it can be related to the head unit itself. Again, you will have to head to the LS section for more accurate information.

Hope this helps and best of luck!

2004 had bad soldering, you'll have to get it fixed or replaced. A search will turn up many threads with options for you e.g.

@Ellesse , thanks for referencing the thread I just updated 3 months ago. I updated 2 threads on this issue with specifics for people to find.

@YELhsa , follow that link, it will get you to the answer. It wasn't only 2004, but mostly. It had to do with the early days of low- and non- lead solder. Not every car will do it, depends a lot on environment. Lead expands with heat to secure the connection, so when they took the lead out, the metal no longer flexed. Pain for us now, sadly.
