Default Power steering fluid change

I was in for my regular oil change the other day and the oil changer recommended I swap out my power steering fluid for new. I have had issues for years with my car not holding its lane without a lot of constant, minute steering corrections, so I figured why not give it a try.
I've driven the car about 200 miles and the car seems to be driving better than ever and goes down the middle of the road like it should.

Could it have possibly been the power steering fluid that was çausing the "wandering" problem or making it worse ? The old fluid did have 170,000 miles .....
