Default Power Steering Fluid

Do you folks regularly change the power steering fluid? with what? Not experiencing any problems, just trying to head them off

You can. Normally people do a 90k service, and usually the deal performs that for you. It is very easy to do, as the Toyota dealer we worked at, I we always carried generic power steering fluid. In my experience, I use almost either dex/merc or type IV tranny fluids over power steering typically because it's a little thicker. But that's just me.

use normal dexron/mercon ATF for the power steering, not normal "power steering" fluid.
