Has anyone changed one of these? It snaps into the dash, you can see it in center of dash just under the windshield. It regulates the AC as the sun load changes. A scan indicated that it had failed.

It looks like it just snaps in and out but it seems that the dash needs to come out. .

Question, when you scanned that code was it in the garage or out in the sunlight? If it was done inside or when it's dark out it will throw those codes saying it has failed. This thread explains it pretty well.

 

Thank you, the computer had this listed in its memory as a failure some time ago, it showed up when scanned by my friend who is a mechanic. He showed me the listing in memory.
