Default Fuel Pump Replacement 2004 LS 430

My Jan 2004 LS430 Fuel Pump appears to need replacement. It stalls and will not restart immediately. The next day it runs perfectly. I ordered the denso 950-0107 pump for replacement along with fuel filter. Upon assembling today it was apparent that the denso replacement pump is slightly longer and will not allow the fuel assembly canister to snap shut .

Lexus dealer ordered their part number for me to compare with my denso part. Won’t be in for a few days. Any some else encountered this?

Thanks for the input. Do you know t the difference between the two? The 951-003 shows in use until 7/2003. Is it possible this part could be installed on my Jan 2004 Lexus?
