Default Common motor oil leaks

Hi,

I have a leak in my 04’ ls430. Just curious, where have you guys been seeing most of the oil leaks? It’s leaking enough to where I see it on the floor. Just curious. I haven’t gone under yet to examine, but I’m sure there are many folks on this forum who would know the most common areas of leakage. I know the oil filter was placed on correctly, but any other spots?

thanks in advance.

Valve cover seals check to see if you can see oil on the exhaust heat shield both sides to do the passenger side you might have to remove the air box/ piping if you do see then u can tighten the bolts down cause they do come loose eventually

Was told by Lexus couple weeks ago engine covers lead during my oil change. They said about $675/side. I did get the oil burning smell and drip on the floor once a while

Valve covers , dip stuck O ring, oil level sender, transmission shifter bushings, oil pan. If you are very unlucky... upper oil pan and rear main engine oil seal. The first 3 are most common.

Camshaft seals leak beginning on or after 200K miles. They should be replaced on the 2nd timing belt change at 180K miles per maintenance schedule interval.
