I have searched the different threads on the ML audio for the various issues and fixes. I went to the system check mode and the Audio H/U says check and I have a line showing 380 NCON. I could not find a picture or thread that showed or mentioned 380 NCON so I'm coming here to see if anyone can help. I checked all of the audio related fuses and everything seems to be good. The car had not been driven for months before I purchased it yesterday and the battery was completely drained. It was jump started and then driven yesterday to charge and is charging properly and holding a charge overnight. Everything else works properly (NAV, touchscreen, radio station selections and info, cd player will eject and accept CD's) but I have no sound from the speakers. I do get sound from the voice command button and parking sensors. I attached a photo of the system check screen. The car is a 2004. Thank you for your help.
I was hoping someone would have had an opinion on this by now...should I just bite the bullet and get the amp checked out or rebuilt to see if it's the culprit? Is it worth taking to the Lexus dealership or an independent shop to have them try to diagnose the problem or am I just going to waste time and money there? Thanks in advance for any input that you guys have.
Audio H/U is the Head Unit.
That's where your problem lies according to that System Check screen.
The 380 (whatever that is) is showing as NCON (not connected).

Thank you for the reply. I was hoping someone knew what 380 meant for the system check screen because otherwise my head unit is working as it should (nav, climate, everything else). I've also seen other threads where the AMP is showing OK in the system check screen and people still say to have it rebuilt and it ended up being the problem. Hopefully some more people can chime in with their opinion or someone knows what 380 is.
