The speaker foam repair is super easy and super cheap, especially if you're willing to cut the opening on the sub. Refer to the post above from Ellesse. The door speakers should be the basic same fix but you'll just have to take the door panels off, again, nothing hard at all.

For the cup holder, I would look at removing the center console lid and you'll probably find what's stopping it from retracting. My center console was loose on my current one and I had to remove it to tighten the bolts. I found a bunch of un-opened toothpicks in mine. I also found a $5k check from the original owner under there as well. It was several years old and I'm sure they had a panic attack when they couldn't find it. Point is that things can slip up under the console.

I agree with your move to get rid of the gold badges. I would do that in a flash! I agree with getting rid of the chrome wheels as well but that can be put off until you can find a good set of OEM wheels. Or, guess you could go aftermarket but I would keep those wheels to put back on if you ever get rid of it.

Double check that all your doors lock/unlock as they should. The door actuators are notorious for going bad but with that many low miles and the fact that you can tell it was garaged I'm betting they are all still good to go. Same with the tilt and telescoping steering wheel motor.

Congrats on finding such a great gem!!! You're going to love it! and if for some reason you don't, hit me up.
Caverman, I appreciate the detailed response. We are on the same page regarding the wheels and badging. I might just get some all chrome OEM center caps for the wheels and call it a day for now. If a mint set of OEM alloy wheels show up on Facebook or Craigslist later, then switch them out. I am not really interested in non OEM wheel options. All of the door actuators work. Thanks for the suggestion regarding the center console lid. I will give it a try.

Thanks!

The clear bra was reported installed when the car was new. I expect some yellowing after 17 years. I will probably leave it on for protection as I am using it as my daily driver.

The speaker foam I suspect is mostly from age versus sun damage as the car was reportedly always garaged.

The gold badging is not faded, I just prefer chrome.

This was an elderly couples' "snowbird" Florida car.

I appreciate everyone's help with addressing the issues with the car.
