Default Front Door Speaker Grille replaceable?

Hi all,

I've been searching high and low here and online, and parts diagrams, and cannot find the answer.

Can the front door speaker grille be replaced separately / independently, without having to replace the entire door cover?

Mine has a little tear in it; looks like previous owner passenger got out with some kind of hook on the side of the heel and tore it.

Door panels are surprisingly cheap, but don't want to pay the $120-$150 for a whole new panel if just the speaker grille needs replacing.

I think so, the part is removable so I would assume you can find just it somewhere online

Yes, you can replace it separately.

I have the same issue in mine and I was under the impression that the grill cover is not removable/clip on like the subwoofer cover... please let me know if I am wrong.

Alternatively, you can try to color match and buy some generic "speaker cover mesh fabric" on amazon/ebay and DIY it... or take it to an upholstery shop.

Good luck!

I think you are right. I think the speaker frame has some tabs that are melted in place on the door panel base. If you are able to cut the little melted portion off, you can then replace or re-stretch and glue the fabric on the frames and then hot glue or remelt the tabs to the door panel...might take a look soon.
