Bumper trim replacement
Has anyone replaced the chrome bumper trim with the rockauto part. Just wanting to know if they look the same as the original. From what a gather they are just secured with adhesive tape so assuming bumper does not need to be removed ? Thanks.

I had mine replaced with the Rock Auto trim when I had both bumper covers refinished. I was told it’s best to have the covers removed when installing trim but I can’t swear by it. The new trim after the cover refinish really makes the car pop. What a difference!

Thanks Bocatrip. Mine are showing their age. The rockautos items are a reasonable price so I will order them. Be great if someone can tell me best method for replacing them. Anyone out there replaced these trims ?

Are you sure they need to be replaced? They will turn dull with time, but by using rubbing compound or chrome polish they can become bright chrome again. Suggest you give it a try before replacing.
