Service history is available from sources other than paper records. Many, if not most all, LS models are dealer serviced. Join the Lexus driver site and simply check any prospective purchase by entering its VIN. Its service history will contain a wealth of information. Obviously, Carfax also has some service data.
I bought my LS 430 from the original owner who kept paper receipts of its service, so such cars do exist!
damn good call on that found another car I was interested and found it’s history have any of you had this problem.
I've never heard of cracked cylinder wall etc. , cooling water in the oil, as explained in this service posting, at least in an LS430. Probably very unusual. I would be very careful before I bought this particular vehicle, as it is not clear exactly what they did to remedy the situation, in fact I would probably consider it an absolute no-go.

Be patient, though with these cars, you should be searching for condition first and then color/options second. I got lucky with mine that it checked all the right boxes AND was white without nav.

oh yea I feel ya . Finding an ultra luxury all blacked out in good condition is my white whale right now.
I reached out to numerous dealers and told them what I was looking for and to contact me when one came in on trade. Sometimes the nice cars don't even get a chance to get listed before they are sold. Something to also consider...
2005 LS430, UL package, 77K miles. Drives like butter. 2nd LS430 I've owned, first was a 2003, that I sold when it hit 100K (only because I found this one with 50K miles). I bought it from a mechanic at a Ferrari dealer, who bought this car when the owner traded it in for a new Ferrari.
There are low mileage cars out there, but it's not the miles, it's the maintenance. Find one that was taken care of. Lots of sites out there, from ebay to Car Gurus to Auto Trader. Good luck.

Congrats on the car. Seems like you got a winner. Considering that you bought this car through a Ferrari dealer located in California, can I ask you what it set you back?
I own a 2005 LS 430 with 47,000 original miles always garage kept. I’m a retired Engineer and don’t drive it much anymore just up to the market once a week to keep the battery up. This is my LS 430 always garage kept 47,000 miles.

Very nice LS430! Looks flawless! (Is that a Mazda next to it?) (And, always white vehicles?)
I just traded my 2004 LS430 for a 2014 LS460 (Peoria). The 430 had 384,000 miles on it I was the second owner. Bought with 10,000 miles on it. Nothing seriously wrong with it. Steering rack was starting to leak.

Just bought a Modern Luxury White Diamond 2006 LS 430 with 55,000 miles! Paid all the money plus some but received what feels like a new automobile. So quiet, smooth and powerful. Leather inside is like new!
