Sell it to someone who won't 'VIP' it. If you need opinions about fixing the car and if it's worth the effort, just let it go. Good luck!

Not sure if SIA discloses their repair process, but I would bet it includes touching up all solder joints. Not sure if intermittent solder joints is the definitive cause of people's ECU problems; maybe someone who has had the work done can ask them for more details.
